Tallahassee Community College offers high-quality post-secondary education. TCC had two areas for improvement of its internal IT systems. Migration of email systems to Office 365 was the first priority, to increase the level of service to students, faculty and staff. High availability of its information technology systems was the next priority. A solution that ensures rapid offsite failover in the event of a natural disaster is helping deliver on that goal.
Servicing email, user accounts and passwords was a responsive task for IT help desk staff, not allowing them to plan and execute projects to the degree necessary. Backup was an insufficient mechanism for continuity of operations.
TCC was migrated to Office 365, and a disaster recovery plan was deployed leveraging Azure Site Recovery.
